Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before booking a repair with SaskTech Appliance Repair. By scheduling a service, you agree to the following.

Effective date: January 1, 2024 SaskTech Appliance Repair · Saskatoon, SK, Canada
01

Service authorization

By booking a service with SaskTech Appliance Repair, you authorize our technician to perform diagnostic and repair work on the specified appliance. Work beyond the initial diagnosis will only begin after you have reviewed and approved a written or verbal quote.

02

Payment

Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and e-transfers. A service call fee applies to all appointments and is waived if you proceed with the repair. Invoices left unpaid beyond 14 days may be subject to a late payment fee.

03

Warranty

All completed repairs carry a 90-day warranty on labour. Replacement parts are covered under the manufacturer's warranty, typically ranging from 90 days to 1 year. Warranty coverage is void if the appliance is tampered with, misused, or serviced by a third party after our repair. Full details are outlined in our Warranty Policy.

04

Cancellation and no-show

Cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled appointment incur no fee. Cancellations within 24 hours, or failure to provide access to the appliance upon arrival, may result in a service call fee. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.

05

Liability

SaskTech Appliance Repair will exercise reasonable care when performing all services. However, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, pre-existing conditions of the appliance, or the failure of parts beyond our warranty period. Our total liability is limited to the cost of the original repair.

06

Access and safety

You agree to provide our technician with safe and reasonable access to the appliance and the area required to perform the repair. SaskTech reserves the right to decline or stop work if conditions are deemed unsafe or if the appliance poses a risk to our technician or your property.

07

Parts and equipment

We use OEM or manufacturer-approved replacement parts wherever possible. In cases where OEM parts are unavailable, we will use high-quality equivalent parts and inform you prior to installation. Parts ordered specifically for your repair are non-refundable once installed.

08

Privacy

We collect your personal information solely for the purpose of scheduling and completing your repair. We do not sell or share your data with third parties. For full details, please review our Privacy Policy.

09

Changes to these terms

SaskTech Appliance Repair reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.

10

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved in the courts of Saskatchewan.
